Pensacola, Fl. — Cool Bro & Beach

They say that the best time of day to take photographs are in the early morning or late afternoon, at sunrise or sunset. Taking photographs at midday is not the greatest idea, unless you’ve mastered the physical techniques of manipulating the direction of light, whether using flash or reflectors etc. I’ve mastered none, so thank goodness for Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop! Photoshop-doctored photographs can look tacky. I think the trick is to be subtle and to treat Photoshop/Lightroom as an artist’s canvas — imagine Michelangelo focusing on the minutia, each small detail, of every part of his beautiful Sistine Chapel. And it also helps having a dude best friend who’s awesome.
